By Car/Ferry

From one of the ferries the direct route down to Carcassonne is via Toulouse on the A62.   We are approx 45 mins away on the A61,  junction 22 at Bram.

Although the motorways have tolls they have plenty of shady places to stop along the way with excellent service stations en route.

By Train

The high speed TGV comes to the Languedoc running directly to Narbonne or Bordeaux.   From there take the train to Carcassonne.
